The Children's Book Project gives free books to children who need them for equity in literacy, learning, and life. Since 1992, they've distributed over 3 million books for low-income kids throughout Northern and Central California. Every donation to their women-led nonprofit helps build reading-rich environments for children with limited or no access to books of their own.

The demand for books in Spanish always exceeds the supply at their Book Bank in San Francisco, so your gift of these books lets vulnerable children know they're seen and valued, and improves their literacy, academic achievement, and lifetime outcomes.
