2022 Booker Longlist

The Booker Prize Foundation has announced their longlist for this year's Booker Prize, a prize awarded each year to a novel published in the UK or Ireland. The 2022 longlist includes three debuts, the shortest book (Small Things Like These), as well as the youngest and oldest authors (20 year old Leila Mottley and 87 year old Alan Garner, respectively) ever to be nominated. The shortlist will be revealed on September 6, and the winner will be announced on October 17.
